Brief Description: This solicitation seeks one qualified
contractor to implement construction-ready restoration designs along approximately 2,949 linear feet of Turkey Creek. The site is approximately four and a half hours (162 miles) from Silver City, NM. The project involves the installation of LTPBR structures such as Zuni bowls, one rock dams, and a cross-vane rock weir, as well as earthwork, a spring box,
cottonwood (Populus spp.) pole planting, wildlife fencing, seeding, and erosion control. The full scope of work is detailed in the NCDE design plans and engineer’s report, with additional items described below. Work will be performed using heavy equipment and hand tools. BCI is partnering with the Gila National Forest to provide contracting services for this project.
