Check out our Events Calendar for opportunities to experience the wonder of bats with Bat Conservation International. This includes the thrill of 20 million bats emerging from their summer home at our Bracken Cave Preserve both in-person and from wherever you are.
The nightly emergence at Bracken is a jaw-dropping, life-changing experience — one that can become a bucket-list item for nature lovers worldwide and inspires people to support bat conservation. We are committed to catalyzing the experience of Bracken bat flights to raise awareness of the ecological and economic value of bats — sustainably increasing access for visitors and protecting this magnificent colony of Mexican Free-tailed Bats.
If you’re not traveling this year, we’re offering virtual member-only bat flights through Zoom and additional member-only experiences, as well as limited opportunities for the public. To date this season, we’ve provided more than 40 events to share the wonder of bats with you.
