Become A Bat Ambassador
BCI is proud to offer a free, self-paced online training for people who would like to become Bat Ambassadors! In this course, you will learn about the natural history, ecology, and conservation of bats directly from BCI’s scientists. After taking the training, you will have a deeper understanding of and appreciation for these diverse and impressive keystone creatures, and you will feel confident advocating for them, making you a Bat Ambassador.
What is a Bat Ambassador?
A Bat Ambassador is simply someone who loves bats and helps to foster a wider appreciation for them. Bat Ambassadors talk with friends, family, neighbors, and others, sharing information about how amazing bats are and the many ways we can support and protect them. As a Bat Ambassador, you’ll also be eligible to take additional courses to learn new Bat Skills like leading Bat Walks and planting Bat Gardens (coming soon!)
The Bat Ambassador course is great for general bat enthusiasts and staff and volunteers from nature centers, museums, public gardens, and zoos.
