A whole week to celebrate bats is just around the corner!

We all know that bats are amazing animals that are vital to the health of our environment and economy. And although we may not always see them, bats are hard at work all around the world each nighteating tons of insects, pollinating flowers and spreading seeds that grow new plants and trees. For this years Bat Week (Oct. 2431), we invite you to learn about all the different ways you can be a hero for bats. From installing a bat house, to teaching others the benefits of bats, to even hosting a Bat Week partythere are countless ways you can help bats not only survive but thrive!

Bat Week is an annual, international celebration of the role of bats in nature. Bat Week is organized by a team of representatives from conservation groups and government departments from across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
