BCI is pleased to welcome Andrew H. Sansom as a member of our Board of Trustees. Sansom is Coordinator of Land Acquisition and Management for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and is the former Director of the Texas Nature Conservancy. During his tenure, the TNC permanently protected more than 200,000 acres of critical Texas natural areas. Andy Sansom has been active in environmental efforts for more than 20 years and was recently named Conservationist of the Year by the Sportsman’s Clubs of Texas. His experience and advocacy for a broad range of national and international conservation efforts will bring a wealth of expertise to BCI projects.
