Whether domestically or on the international stage, our leadership in FY25 was prominent and noteworthy. Some examples include the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service awarding our Agave Restoration Initiative team with the Recovery Champions Award for leadership in the recovery of the Endangered Mexican long-nosed bat (Leptonycteris nivalis). Similarly, BCI’s continued work in Colombia resulted in the first habitat bank for bat conservation in Latin America while we also protected and strengthened conservation of 10 priority bat roosts in Mexico.
