Building on the work of its partners, Bat Conservation International has created a geodatabase and map of critical bat-hibernation sites and the probable spread of White-nose Syndrome using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. BCI received ArcGIS software through a grant provided by the ESRI Conservation Grant program. Using GIS to analyze how WNS has spread and is expected to spread in the future will help biologists respond to the disease. Visit to view the article:
