Four Stars for BCI

The largest independent evaluator of U.S. charities has awarded its highest rating - four stars - to Bat Conservation International. Charity Navigator, which examines and rates 2,133 of America's largest charities, cited BCI's financial management and health.

The four-star rating, Charity Navigator says, “indicates that your organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in the area of strong fiscal management.” BCI, the rating noted, devotes a very healthy 86.5 percent of its operating budget to programs and services that further its mission of protecting bats and bat habitats around the world.

Charity Navigator described BCI's rating as “an exceptional feat … given the economic challenges all charities have had to face in the last year.”

We thank our loyal and generous members for making this exemplary ranking possible in these extremely challenging economic times.
