Biologists whose work includes fruit bats are urged to attend a special conservation-planning meeting during the International Congress on Conservation Biology symposium in Auckland, New Zealand, in December.
 
The one-hour, roundtable meeting will discuss fruit-bat conservation priorities and revisions of the IUCN Old World Fruit Bat Action Plan. The special session will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, in Epsom 1/2 Room at the SkyCity Convention Center in Auckland.
