Meeting on Southeastern Bats

The Southeastern Bat Diversity Network's Annual Meeting will be held February 18, 2010, in Asheville, North Carolina. The 20th Colloquium on Conservation of Mammals in the Southeastern United States is planned for the following day.

The SBDN's 15th Annual Meeting features a symposium on the ecology of northern long-eared, little brown and eastern small-footed myotis – cave-associated species that are impacted by White-nose Syndrome.

The deadline for mailed early registration is February 1, after which participants must register at the conference. The registration fees is $50, or $20 for students. Group-rate reservations at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel are available until January 18.

For more information, visit SBDN's website at www.sbdn.org/2010_meeting.html.
