You might remember Randall Foy of Springfield, Virginia, from a Spring 1996 BATS "members-in-action" profile. Randall had inspired his co-workers at Safeway Supermarket to pledge $2,704 to BCI through their company United Way campaign in 1995.

Knowing Randall's unfailing enthusiasm, we were thrilled but not too surprised when he recently wrote to say that Safeway's pledges jumped nearly 58 percent in 1996, for a total of $4,260! Congratulations and thank you to Randall and all of our friends at Safeway #1428!
