New Activity Book for Children

In response to requests from teachers throughout the U.S. and Canada, BCI has recently completed the Educator's Activity Book About Bats. This newest educational item for the classroom was developed primarily for youngsters from ages 4-10. It is designed to teach young children the facts about bats before stereotypes become established. Eighteen activities include craft projects such as a bat mobile depicting the diversity of diets, masks of unusual bat faces, a game to teach how mother bats find their babies in a crowded bat roost, a play dealing with what to do when children find a bat on the ground, and many more fun and educational projects. Background information for teachers is included on each topic covered. The BCI member price is $9.95 plus $3.75 for shipping and handling.
