Update on Caring for Bats

In the June 1985 issue of BATS we discussed care of live bats for educational purposes and, as a convenience, recommended use of frozen mealworms. Nevertheless, Sue Barnard, a BCI member and expert on care of bats, reports that in her experience, many bats will eat only live food. Her detailed advice on feeding insectivorous bats is available at no charge. She can be contacted at 6146 Fieldcrest Dr., Morrow, GA 30260. (404-658-7994 work,- 404-961-4127, home.)
