We wish to thank Bacardi Imports, Inc., The Johnson's Wax Fund, and The Chapman Foundation for providing essential assistance in 1985. In addition to Bacardi's financial contributions, their popular bat booklet continues to educate many thousands of people, generating valued new members and donations. The Johnson's Wax Fund contributed a new word processing system, enabling BCI to expand and streamline office operations, and The Chapman Foundation continued its generous financial support.

We thank our members for their substantial assistance. Many of you have upgraded your memberships or sent additional donations, and others are using our programs to educate thousands more about the values of bats. We especially thank our life members, our special friends who annually contribute amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, and those of you who are working diligently to help our membership grow.
