Builder Gone Batty

A builder in Scotland has a contract to build over 200 houses as part of a redevelopment program. He telephoned Dr. Robert Stebbings several times to discuss how the buildings might be adapted to benefit bats. He wished to provide access to roof spaces and weather boarding behind which bats could roost. Let's hope the new homeowners will appreciate the forethought!
